Oxford Maps began life in 2012 on a humble market stall at Gloucester Green Antique Market in Oxford. Over the intervening years, we have traded at almost 600 markets, mostly in the South of England and, since early 2023, in the Northwest.

From the outset, we decided to only deal in authentic antique and vintage maps: we do not buy or sell modern reproductions.

More recently, we also decided that all unframed maps on our website will have free delivery to UK addresses (Royal Mail.) There are no hidden costs: when you see a price, that's what you pay.

Most of our maps are mounted. This means that they fit neatly into standard-sized frames that can be bought from high street stores. This keeps the 'cost of ownership' low because custom-made frames can be expensive.

Please note: the maps in this online store represent a fraction of the maps available at our physical market stall. If possible, we suggest that you visit the stall and have a good 'real-life' browse. Details of future markets are listed on the 'markets' page of this website.
